About Us

Montessori Academy of Glen Ellyn (MAGE) is a community of children, parents, and educators dedicated to a dynamic learning experience based on the Montessori philosophy. Located on 1.5 acres just north of downtown Glen Ellyn, our experienced Montessori teachers provide hands-on learning experiences in our meticulously prepared indoor and outdoor environments.

Guided by Maria Montessori's philosophy of respect for each individual child, we have designed our school to meet the academic, emotional, physical, and social needs of each student. The thoughtfully prepared environment is designed to direct the child toward positive, constructive, and joyous work. Children are encouraged to explore the outdoor and indoor environments at their own pace.

Our mission is to help each child develop to his or her fullest potential in a climate of joy, respect and freedom within limits.
